If your garment requires some fine tuning, visit your preferred local tailor for alterations. HARTTER | MANLY will offer a reimbursement of your verified-by-tailor-receipt alterations, up to $50. This credit is offered to ensure your new custom-made clothing fits you perfectly.

Try on your garment within 24 hours of delivery. If for some reason your order doesn’t fit, we got you covered. Here are your options:
- For jacket sleeve and pant length alterations ONLY, you are welcome to visit a local dry cleaner or tailor for a quick and precise hem. Just email us a copy of your receipt within 30 days of your event date and we’ll refund you up to $15 for the alterations. Important note: make sure to specify to the person performing the alteration that extra fabric is not to be cut or removed and that alterations to the fit of the garment are prohibited!
- For sizing issues concerning the jacket shoulders/body, pant waist/seat, shirt neck/body, vests, and shoes, we’ll be happy to send you another size. Use our Rental Exchange Form to request a new garment. You simply keep everything (even items that don’t fit) and return it all after your event. For requests received after 48 hours of delivery, additional shipping charges may apply.
If you have misplaced your pre-paid return label, visit our online shipping portal to create a new one. Once you have the new return label, tape it to your box and drop it off at your local UPS office.
Try everything on within 24-48 hours of receiving your order to see how it fits. Also be sure to keep your garment on a hanger to allow any wrinkles to fall out. If something doesn’t fit, whether you bought or rented from us, please use our Rental Exchange Form to request a new garment. Once we receive your request, one of our customer care agents will get back to you to confirm the details of your replacement order.
If you rented from us, contact us within 48 hours of receiving your rental to avoid rush shipping fees. You can hold onto all items (including those that didn’t fit) until after the event and return them together.
If you bought your rental from us, you can hold onto your current size until you receive your replacement size. Once you receive your replacement, make your final decision as to which size works best for you, then return one of them within 7 days of receiving your replacement. If not returned within 7 days, you will be charged for the replacement item.
After receiving your order, please try everything on, then hang it up immediately. Light wrinkles should fall out naturally within a few hours.
If you have a steamer, you can use it on the lightest setting to help remove the wrinkles a little faster.
If there are stubborn wrinkles that still won’t come out, you’re welcome to take the garments to a local dry cleaner and have them pressed. Email us a photo of the receipt at email@example.com, and we will be happy to refund up to $15.
Whether you are renting or buying, we recommend that you have your sizes submitted (and order placed) 30 days prior to your event date. This gives our expert fit specialists time to review your sizes, and make sure everything looks right before shipping your order.
We currently do not carry infant, toddler, or children’s sizes for rent. However, we can construct a garment for purchase. If of interest, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We do not offer women’s rental suits at this time. However, if your event is 4+ weeks out, you can purchase a matching custom suit for women in your wedding.
We require initial orders to be placed 30 days prior to the event date. If you place your replacement order less than 13 days before your event date, your order will be charged a rush fee. We do this to help cover expedited processing and shipping charges.
Rush fees are determined as follows:
- $20 shipping fee for orders placed 9-13 days before the event and will be sent express to arrive in 2-3 days.
- $40 shipping fee for orders placed 5-8 days before event, orders will be shipped overnight
- We won’t ship within 4 days of the event.
If your replacement order is placed 14+ days prior to your event, your replacement sizes are shipped for free using UPS. If you have any fit issues, please make sure to submit a replacement request within 48 hours of receiving your order.
If what you’d like to swap to is available, we’ll account for the difference in prices. A $20 shipping fee will apply. Please complete our rental exchange form.
Our pants are designed with a hidden Flex Fit waistband that will automatically tighten up to (1) inch on both sides if needed.

To ensure that you look sharp for your big day, make sure that after receiving your garments and trying them on, you hang up all garments to avoid wrinkles. If necessary, you can use steam to remove wrinkles (using a fabric steamer or just a steamy bathroom). Do not iron the garments. If you are experiencing more than minor wrinkling, please contact us for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org. We can authorize you for complimentary pressing services. This means that you can go to your local dry cleaner, and we will happily reimburse you for up to $15 for pressing.
Although we have a variety of colors to match or complement the colors of your wedding, renting is limited to what we have in stock. However, H|M can match your wedding colors exactly if you decide to purchase suits. Purchased suits are heavily discounted for wedding parties. To discuss further, setup a digital appointment with one of our stylists.
We strongly advise having your order shipped to the address where you will be exactly 14 days prior to your event. This will allow maximum time to try on the order and contact us should there be any fit issues.
Please do not ship your order to a venue or hotel where you plan to arrive less than 14 days in advance. It is always best to receive your garment on time, and we’ve designed our garment bag for easy travel. Trust us on this.
We take care of all the dry cleaning, and use only modern, eco-friendly processes.
Most of our items can be purchased at a discounted price. In your return reminder, the email we send the day after your event, you will see the offer including the price per item. As a special thank you, we apply your rental cost to your purchase price so you can keep the things you love.
We ask that you return your items 3 days after your event date using your prepaid return shipping label. After 3 days, we charge unreturned fees. The individual items are as follows:

To avoid getting charged unreturned fees, let us know that you want to extend your rental for a week by filling out the Rental Extension Request Form. We’ll charge $60 to the credit card on file for the additional week.
Damage Waiver: We charge a $10.00 ‘insurance’ fee for rental orders. This covers minor wear and tear that our garments may endure during your event.
Tax: For rentals, we are ‘leasing’ a product to you. We are required by law to charge state rental tax in most jurisdictions.
If you need to adjust the length of the pants or jacket sleeves, you’re welcome to visit a local tailor or dry cleaner to have the garments adjusted to your desired length – without cutting the fabric. We’ll be happy to refund you up to $15 – just use the alterations reimbursement form to upload a photo of the alteration receipt.
IMPORTANT: Please instruct the tailor to only re-hem the length of the jacket sleeves or pants, and not to cut or remove any fabric. The body of the jacket, pants, vest, and shirt cannot be custom altered in any way. Permanent alterations will render the garment unusable, and will result in you being charged a replacement fee.

Place the included prepaid shipping label on your original box and drop it off at your nearest UPS store within three (3) days following your event to avoid late and/or replacement fees.
If we can restore the garment to our quality standards using our in-house tailors and dry cleaning facility, we will do so, free of charge. If the garment is considered damaged beyond repair or destroyed, you may be charged a replacement fee. This damage is assessed by the returns department, and fees may vary.
